According to PCSSD’s webstie, the new Sylvan Hills Middle School was designed with a mall concept in mind, with the gym and cafeteria on each end, enclosing the other buildings.

It will be outfitted with the latest, proven school technology, including wireless access in strategic locations, loaner laptops for on-campus use, and interactive boards and telephones in every classroom.

The 189,000-square-foot school will serve 1,200 students in grades 6-8. The new Sylvan Hills Middle School is scheduled to open for the fall term in August 2011.
